Once upon a time … there was a young prince. He was very handsome and likeable and when he was old enough, he was going to marry to a very handsome princess. But the princess fell in love with another man, not a prince. They wanted to get married, but they couldn’t, because the princess had to marry the prince. So they contrived a horrible plan to get rid of the handsome, likeable prince…

But the prince heard about this plan and was very sad, but he was even more angry! He was so angry he went to the princess with the plan to murder her… But when he looked into her beautiful, innocent eyes, he could not do it. What he didn’t know was that the other man was also in the room they where standing in. The man took his change and hit the prince at the back of his head with a piece of wood. The prince wasn’t dead yet, so the princess gave him some belladonna: poison.

After they murdered the prince, the princess and her man went to another country, but they were discovered a year later. The man was sentenced to dead. The princess didn’t get the dead penalty, but she was imprisoned for the rest of her life in a cold and dark cellar.

Some people say that if you want to get married, you can sometimes see the Poison Prince, moaning about the deceiving love from the princess.
