Hi Everyone,
Tomorrow I will be adding Sims with links to my LJ Community where you can download them. I thought I might as well share them with you, but they will always remain on my LJ Account. Characters from TRUE BLOOD & TWILIGHT can be found over there. I may even add a few new faces that are dedicated to the site only. See how much time I get. I hope you all enjoyed our Halloween offerings.
The update is complete, now I just have to work on some tweaking here and there on the site and I should be done. ENJOY!!!
Engram's Paintings & Fantasyrogue's new skintone are ready for download. Avaluna's Sims will go up on Saturday and then I'll get mine up Saturday evening.
If you poke about the site you will start to see update going live here and there. I won't get it all done tonight, but I imagine by Thursday or Friday the Halloween Updates will all be complete.
Good news!!! I have taken all the photos. Halloween Sims should be going up throughout the week and be sure to check out Engram's Spooky Paintings & Fantasyrogue's Mummerific Skintone when they make their way onto their fabulous pages.
So I am currently getting all the photographs edited for the new THEME update. This Theme will be done a little differently from past Themes. You will find the new Halloween Sims/Creations under each Creator, they will be easy to spot because a small orange star will signify spooky and goul-like pixels. Green stars will signify new pixels. Hope this isn't too confusing for you all. Oh I have a LJ now where my Vampy-Style Sims will be found. Ihave two characters of True Blood going up either thisevening or tomorrow (but most likely tomorrow). Orphan Pixels needs some love too so Hopefully that community will get an update by me this weekend.
The update to the site was meant to be today, but I have been a tad under the weather so I will most likely get it up on the site Monday!
We are getting our own Domain Name, I got a voucher from Moonfruit so eventually we will be www.ll30sims.com. How cool is that?
Be sure to check out Phasmatic Sims new home, Kiki was working hard on it yesterday and they are now up and running.
So whats new here? New Sims from Avaluna, PETCHY, Fantasyrogue, Engram, Mist, MWT & Spider. Some oldies, but goodies have been added to my page and Hoover Astro is now ready for dowload too! Engram has some recolours of the AL Split Dress up too. So quite a lot to check out.
Hello Again - Two new Sims up today from Engram and the default version of the Zombie Skintone is also ready for download on Fantasyrogue's Page. Thank you Engram for making it into a default. Hopefully by this evening some fabulous recolour using Maxis & Gelydh meshes will be avaliable!! - Keely

Marvin Yale will be up again in a moment along with some other BP Sims, some new Simicide Girls went up, two new Sims from me went live and I am working on getting some of Misty's new creations up for download too. Hi Guys,
I would like to welcome a new addition to our site. Engram is well known over at the S2C community and LJ Community and now their wonderful creations will be up for grabs on this site too. Starting with those lovely eyes BP and I use a lot on our Sims as deafults!!! So keep an eye out for some fabulous items going up for download here soon.
New non-themed Sims will also be added over the next week or so.....which always uber cool.

The Simicide Theme is up. All but 4 Sims are ready for download. BC, BP & one of my Sims are the missing 4. They will go up by tomorrow evening. Let me know if there are any fugged up links. Content Lists for these Sims will go up over the next couple of days. I am out of town tomorrow.....so not much will be done till VERY VERY late evening on that front.

I have added Nina and Dina too the Maxis Makeover Page. Avaluna I will correct the mystery of the missing eyebrows tomorrow, I am POOPED tonight after a busy day out with Mum! I am also hoping to upload some Simicide Girls tomorrow too. Only one from each creator to start, but they will be going up one by one over the course of this week coming.

So far, BC's the only one who's included profiles (ya slackers!! lol). I miss them too.

FR we can be the slack percentage on this website and no I don't think the Miller's need it (LOL). They are VERY well known indeed!!!
I haven't added a bio either. Slacker number two right here! And only the newer sims of mine have a little picture included in the rar.
(though I hardly think the Millers need bios)
Beatdoc, we had to cull a lot of things off the site to free up some room for expansion. We do not include the Bio's anymore on the page with the Sim, but most of the Creators include a Bio with their rar files etc....except me because I am a SLACKER!!!!

Quick question, when you went with the new sim icons/pics (massive help btw) did you do away with all the sim bio's? They were great for establishing a personality but I can't seem to find them anymore :(

Ferret, I see what you mean about Al! I would never attempt to go on that ride, but I would guess that an attendant dressed like that would be sufficiently scary!!!
Oh, also BP's Al reminds me of the wierd attendents from the Tower of Terror ride at disneyland.

Haines eyes are by Sarhra. I have recolours of these eyes that I have done myself and the fabulous kinemortophobia on LJ/GoS has recoloured and defaulted these eyes also. It's nothing exciting. Nothing you couldn't achieve if you had Anva's sclera masks in your downlods. ButI'm lazy so I made the sclera part of the eye so I don't have to change appearance on all my aliens. I'm thinking of making the tear ducts greenish yellow so they suit green alien skins better. Although the pink tearducts kind of have that half-human, half-alien flavour to them I suppose.
Now you have me curious Engram....I am going to check that post out also!!
Petchy - I'll PM you the link to the pixel_and_bean eyes that Keely mentioned. I have also done an edit of them with an Anva sclera, that gives them a slightly more eyeball type look. Look for my post on S2C in the Maxis made sims pic thread, page 17, second last post (#424) to see what the edited ones look like.

Ooo! I just remembered, Can you throw us a link as to where you get those prottyfull Alien Eye replacements are from? I did a Funky little search at MTS2 and came up with less than a handfull that wouldn't go with my skintones:)

The stire decided to Die and go back to the Non-Flas version awhile ago, Dunno why, just did, I had to update my Flas and everything was back to normal :) Try that, as Keely says, Its most likely a problam related to your computer :)

Does the word "Download" have a strike underneath it? I know...a stupid question, but this would mean the Sim is not ready for download. Also you do need to have Flash updated on your computer to use this site.
I think its more of a specific thing to you/your computer or I would have had a gob-load of email by now saying the same thing!
Sorry I didn't explain. Its just when I go to click "Download" nothing happens. No pages open, nothing shows up in my downloaded sims stuff folder. Maybe its just my computer..
Aww thanks FR. I am on a new medication for my migraines and has kind of thrown me off kilter a bit. I am sure I will adjust....just had no concentration span today.
I'd say, take your time, Keely. Health always comes first :) Hope you feel better soon.
Use Clean Installer....any Sim content will work regardless of expansion pack. The unpacker that comes with the game is borked and does not work.

Thats a odd little erron EA gave you when they made that program, Its odd, Because Sims don't require any EPs AT ALL :)

The way you can got around it is by Downloading the Clean Installer - from MTS2 - As that is a fool-proof way of Downloading Sims and Lots, that works! This program works just like the old one, Install and thats it!

I used to be able to download sims from here but my computer broke for a while and now sims 2 content installer says the required expansion pack data is not installed. I guess this is because i only have the ep's up to seasons, but i could download before so i'm a little confused. Am i no longer able to download sims without having the ep's the creator has?
It's a shame that i can't have your awesome sims in my game ^_^
Working fine on my end too. May I suggest explaining exatly what you mean when you say **they don't work** It's a bit hard to help you if we don't know in more detail what you are indeed trying to tell us!
They work for me, Downloader, Please try agin sometime when its not at peak downloading times for Mediafire :)

Hi, hi, hi! I'm just a random simmer here, but I wanted to drop a little comment on my way out, and say that all of you guys rock. Really hard. This is the coolest, funnest site to browze, and to get some sim-spiration (te-he!) for creating my own characters as well. :) Seriously. The simmies you guys come up with all just make me grin. This is definitel my preferred style, too. So yeah, thanks for all the wonderful work here! And I'm definitely excited about new stuff from all of you creators. <3 <3 <3 And that's all I wanted to say. Te-he. Now off to snatch a few more sims!

Don't worry about tieing an end to something that is a continuous string, because it will just go longer and longer and the Knot will just fall behind - Better to make little knots as you go along and then you don't fall back too much :)

I love the new layout :) It does make finding sims a lot easier. I've been including the picture of the sim in the rar. Should be no problem to include a short bio or at least add some stats to the picture. I love using the aspiration and star sign of the sim, how the original creator intended for the sim to be. Sometimes people offer their sim with the statement of "she's such a goofball" or "he's very serious" but that can be hard to replicate if you don't get their personality quite right.
I love the new website layout! The preview pictures make the sims so much easier to find, sometimes you'd see a sim and forget their name then spend agggeees going through them all. So, yeah. Well done!

Caitlin I believe some of the Creators will be doing that with their Sims.
Would it be possible to put each bio in a text file and include it in the download package for the sim? I love being able to see all the sims at once, but I loved using the bios as well. :)
Sneebs & Nani - I miss the bios too, but as I said we needed to free up some space. Hopefully you will enjoy the new layout over time. It is easier to find the Sim you are after however. Some more tweaks will be made I am sure, but no big changes concerning those pages for a while!
I love love love the new sims, but I really preferred the old layout, although I can see why it has it's benefits. I miss the story thingies though...
Awww, I miss the bios! But I understand why changes needed to be made, and it is easier to see which sims you want to download!
This is quite a change, i love it! Very simple, time and space saving :) I'll miss the bios, even tho writing them was sometimes a pain in the neck :)

Ooooh, love what you did with the downloads! It seems more simple now, since you don't have to click at every link to see the sim, that sure is good for slow computers. ;-) I'll try to send a sim or two tomorrow if I find some time... Cheers!
Thanks charley. I know it is VERY different from what we had, but I needed to streamline updating and making sure we never ask for donations for our Sims and other Creations. This was the only way I could figure out how to do that!!! Of course tweaks will be made over the coming weeks to make it even more workable and easier for you guys.
